Our VIS-LOK technology means that every fitting includes a check ring, providing you a guide on how much to tighten the fitting. Simply tighten until the check ring comes off and you’ll know you’ve got the perfect connection.

Installation is straightforward and requires no specialised qualifications. Simply insert the tubing into the fitting until it stops, finger-tighten the nut until it's snug, and then give it a final turn with an appropriate tool until the check ring comes off. The VIS-LOK technology gives you a perfect connection, every time.

High-quality stainless steel tubing that is fully annealed—seamless or welded per ASTM A269, A213 or equivalent—should be used with VIS-LOK tube fittings. The tubing must not exceed a maximum hardness of HRB 90 on the Rockwell Scale. HRB 80 is more suitable for bending and offers a greater difference in hardness to the ferrules. This difference in hardness offers more ease in assembly and better interaction between the ferrules and the tubing.
